Minister Karimov: Cooperation of Tatarstan and Germany has long history
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov met today with Hans-Joachim Frey, Artistic Director of the Talent and Success Foundation.
The meeting took place at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan.
The parties discussed ways of interaction in various areas, including trade and economic, scientific and technical, industrial, educational, and cultural spheres.
Cooperation between Tatarstan and Germany has a long history and is one of the priority areas of Tatarstan’s foreign economic activities, said Albert Karimov.
In recent years, relations between Tatarstan and Germany have been successfully developing in such areas as petrochemicals, energy, mechanical engineering, medicine and others.
“Tatarstan is actively developing interregional cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany. We have formed strong cooperative ties with such federal states as Saxony, Thuringia, and Bavaria,” he added.
